About Us
About A la Crepe Cafe
Crepes originate in the Western region of France called “Bretagne”. We serve two types of crepes, savory made with buckwheat and sweet made with wheat. We cook our crepes on iron griddles.
Enjoy our time-tested combinations, or feel free to make your own. This cozy family run creperie features casual French fare with a moderately priced menu of crepes . The creperie boasts a fun ambient feel with an uncontrived atmosphere, and sidewalk cafe is amazing in the warmer months. Crepes are made from white wheat flour and Galettes from buckwheat flour. Both are traditional products from Brittany, an area of Celtic origin located in the west of France. If the generic name for galettes and crepes is nowadays “crepes” – one says a “creperie” and not a “galetterie” when referring to a restaurant serving both specialties.
